Location near Gohri Gate,
ANF is happy to announce to all its friends and supporters that the construction of the Environmental Education Centre facility is currently in full swing
Over 30 workers are busy building involving long hours under the guidance of ANF India representative Vivek Mohan Sharma.
The centre will become a meeting place for local people and children from the community, as well as for eco-tourists and artist groups. All kinds of activities will take place; nature and art workshops, demonstrations in sustainable cooking food and water usage by means of solar energy and box cooking, water treatment, organic vegetable and medical plants gardens techniques and so on (read the brochure).
Environmental education is the most important element. People living in the Bandhavgarh area, especially children, will be able to learn about the beauty of nature and the importance of conserving the natural world, and will see benefits such as jobs, better land use and natural recourse management.
