ANF in Alaska: may 6

Tuesday,  May 6th 2025

The day started gray and wet again.
At 10.00, we all went by boat to Sea Otter Island.
Another house owned by the Eyak Native Conservancy.

A 15 minutes high speed crossings with Dune’s fishing boat with jet moters. Soon after our arrival with all our geer, the sky finally did break and the first bit of sun appeared!

The artists, after bringing some of their packs upstairs to the different bedrooms. Immediately disappeared and very soon found a place to paint a couple of hours, before a late lunch. Soon after, they disappeared again and painted outside till 19.00, mainly under splendid conditions only interrupted by a few light showers.
The high quality production was amazing!

'HERE COMES THE SUN' (Lennon and McCartney)
Again a great dinner, laughter and many stories.
All looking forward to the next days.
